Bush Telly won the Supreme Award for Design Excellence and the Judges Supreme Award and as a result has got extensive TV, radio and newpaper media coverage.

2010 Canterbury Earthquake
The 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck the South Island of New Zealand on 4 September 2010 has caused widespread damage and disruption in the city of Christchurch, where Bush Telly is based. Bush Telly has been shut down while the crew deal with damaged homes and help families, neighbours and friends. The launch of completed programmes has been delayed for a number of weeks.
